Read:

1. G.O. Ms. No.55, Personnel and Administrative Reforms (A) Department, dated 7.6.2021. II. G.O. Rt. No.4351, Public (Special-A) Department, dated 6.11.2021.

ORDER:

The erstwhile Personnel and Administrative Reforms (A) Department in its order first read above, amended the Tamil Nadu Government Business Rules, 1978 and the Secretariat Instructions in regard to Public Works: Department and Water Resources Department.

2. In the G.O. second read above orders have been issued posting. Dr. Sandeep Saxena, IAS as Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Water Resources Department; and Thiru Dayanand Kataria, IAS as Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Public Works Department.

3. Accordingly, the Government have decided to separate the Water Resources wing from the Public Works Department and to form a new department called Water Resources Department with effect from the date of amendment issued in the Tamil Nadu Government Business Rules, 1978.

4. This order issues with the concurrence of the Human Resources Management Department vide its U.O. No.164/A2/2022 dated:04.01.2022.
